Summer Saturday Soirée in Stockholm

It's mid-July - summer in Stockholm. It's a Saturday night and you're out with the family - mom, dad, sons 18 and 20. Where would you eat? What would you do after dinner? Would you browse shops? Theater? Clubs?

Shops usually close at 19.00 and usually there aren't any theatre plays going on in the summer, Dramaten might have a summer play (they had last summer) but I don't know for this summer.

 

As for night clubs, I don't have any personal experience but you can find many listed at: http://www.visitstockholm.com/en/Eat--drink/Nightlife/

 

If you want something more "exotic" perhaps you could do a dinner cruise?

Both Strömma Kanalbolag and Blidösundsbolaget are offering various types of brunch/lunch/dinner cruises.

 

Blidösundsbolaget also offers music cruises where you eat a nice dinner while listening to liver performances.

 

Some summer cruises still says "end of season" but they probably will open for booking within a month or two.
