So we've decided on a 7 day cruise on the Dawn. About the same price as a carnival cruise, but with an extra port[emoji13]

 

Almost did a 5 day, but a 7 was only an extra $20 pp.

 

So my question is, can we book now, and if something comes up, reschedule and pay the difference? Like if something comes up with work (we usually book last minute because of this), or if my wife gets pregnant, etc. ... but I want to book in advance because I want to take advantage of the incentives and whatnot.

Changing or canceling, depending on the time frame would result in fees.

All cruiselines have a final payment and related cancel with or without penalty date. Check out each.

 

Various insurance policies allow cancel for any reason ,or cancel for certain reasons.

In your opinions, would the chance of having a fee outweigh booking now because of incentives?
