I booked a 4j on the Valor

First, I am happy with the price I booked being a single. It's early saver, and I wonder if there is any chance of price drops being there are a limited few of these cabins. Also, what would an upgrade be if there is one. My cruise is in Nov on the Valor.

Eyeball around Fourth of July for sales, also from three months out to your cruise, but I wouldn't expect much if it were the week of Thanksgiving. What price did you get, how many nights I assume from Pt. Canaveral?

I booked one of these on my Freedom cruise last November, it was not however ES, so cannot predict how that will go for you. I loved the room though, and was also sailing solo, room 7302 or 7203:confused:. Loved the front deck, also the big window for daytime light. my room was small, but perfectly fine for me and me alone lol. you had to be sure to close your drapes at night when in the room, since it interfered with the bridge above. You may already know about this, if so disregard my words.

 

The deck out front was wonderful for sailaway and for sailing into ports. It was however often closed off due to high winds during times at sea. I would love to get another of these rooms, but was not available already for a decent price on my next cruise, so am going back down to a porthole.

Nov 7 is the sail date for 7 days out of PC. I'm use to the balconys so I needed at least a window booking an interior. The price was $878, not bad for a solo for 7 days.

You have a very decent price....but do keep checking around fourth of july and perhaps stating in september, since you have early saver they will honor a lower rate even up to 2 days before the sailing. What is your status on Carnival and do you get casino/premier casino offers?

It is considered inside but DOES have a window overlooking a deck. The price is higher than an inside but lower than ocean view or balcony so is a very good value.

This is only my fourth cruise so I'm still red and I do get casino offers, not premier.

4J on the Valor states its an inside cabin not ocean view.

 

The 4j have a wide window which over looks a walkway on the front of the ship.

It is the top of the catergories of the inside cabins so that's why I wondered if there would be any price drops since there are so few of them.

There could be price drops he/she has to keep looking...remember july 4th the week before and during and around september thru sailing date. In your profile there is an area where you can opt for upgrades choose it. The price is excellent for a single...keep looking and maybe you get more, if not, you got a great price!

We have booked 4J room at least a half a dozen times and have enjoyed the window, location and the access to the deck in front.
