Destiny

Has anyone recently been on the Destiny, if so what is the condition of her, we have done two Carnival and one RCCL, although AOS was nice we would like to give Carnival a another try, Any help you can give would be great, thank you

We were on the Destiny in February. It was WONDERFUL!! Obviously an older ship, but it seemed in fine shape to us. Others have complained about stains on the carpet etc and I suppose you could find that on any ship - if you look. :rolleyes:

 

We throughly enjoyed it and have recommended it to others. Have a GREAT time :)

Destiny is now in DryDock getting a facelift and repairs, so there should be no worries about her condition... I cruised her for the 2nd time in October 2004 and was extremely happy. We cruised last December (12-18 I think) and had a great time. It was winter break for the local children so there were families everywhere. The pool area was never very crowded though.
