Carnival's current promotion? 3/19/15

Today is the last day in this promotion and I was wondering if anyone has gotten any extras because of it. Here is some background on my situation:

 

2 weeks ago I booked a cruise in July and paid a base price of 569 for an Oceanview cabin. Well of course that was for riviera deck and I am just more of a fan of higher deck. So I Paid the upgraded price of 594 to get on the Upper deck. To go any higher just wasn't worth the extra money.

 

Well now they are offering upgrades to the Empress deck for 589. I know it isn't a high difference but it's a higher deck and cheaper than what I paid. This is also the first time I have booked early saver so I am still not sure how it all works. Should I call my PVP and ask?

OP said she is booked early saver, so the sail date is irrelevant. (Doesn't matter if she's past final payment.)

When I submitted my price protection form I asked to be upgraded and get the money back I paid to upgrade originally. Like I said before this is my first ES booking and I'm still learning. I love a challenge and a deal so I'm all for it.

I received $60 onboard credit last night and I've had my cruise paid off! Definitely doesn't hurt to check! :)

Just an update, I did get upgraded to the Empress deck but did not get my $10 back that I originally paid to upgrade to the upper deck. Oh well
