Cannot wait to read your review! Was this your first cruise? If not what other ships can you compare the summit to? I will be on her come Feb!! I hope she is not too small>....We were on the Raidance last year and felt she was too small. Felt rushed and waited too much in line all the time! That was a first for us.

Looking forward to your read!

Joyce

Can you tell me what makes the ship more special than others? Did it feel crowded at all? How are the lines at lunch time?

the stafff is just great!!!, it did not feel crowded at all and the ship was totally booked. the only time there was a line was on embarkation day, but it was minor. there are so many places to eat, you never wait

The Summit is anything but small! It is large and lovely. Although booked to capacity when we sailed her in 2002 there were no crowds. We could always find quiet places to spend our afternoons. Have a blast. I am sailing her again 2/18/05 and the only bad part is waiting!

Thank you all for answering my questions. I was on the Raidance of the Seas last year and she was full also and it seemed like we could never find a table at lunch time at the Windjammer! I think the ships are about the same size so I was wondering if there would be the same problem. Can't wait to sail on her Feb. 28th.........so FAR AWAY!!

Hi HockeyDad!!
Sorry we missed you at the party but I'm happy to hear you had a good trip. We also had a fabulous time on the Summit and have already booked our next one!

The only time we felt crowded in the buffet cafe was the last sea day of the trip. It was a bit chilly getting from Mexico up to San Diego and all the people who had risen at the crack of dawn every other day of the trip to get to the pool... were in the cafe with us! But we still found a table with a little help from the waiters who are always waiting to help you with a tray.

I am also working on a review of this trip so you should see several of us posting soon!

Cheers,
Carol
