Allure I phone question

So my understanding is that if I put my iPhone on airplane mode next week on the Allure that I will not have any charges. Correct? I can use my camera and video camera freely?

If I then turn on Wi Fi , I then can purchase an email package from RCI. I believe I saw a $20 plan for 60 minutes.

I see that Att has a 30$ passport plan! In this case would I just keep turning my airplane mode on and off?

Any thoughts appreciated!

You also must have data turned off. Many apps use data in the background. The $30 plan for ATT will not work. That is a data plan. On the ship, you need wifi. So if you get the data plan, you still need the wifi plan. The 30.00 ATT plan is great if you are traveling internationally, say Europe. Ships use Cellular at Sea which is a special service.

So airplane mode, data turned off, and wifi turned off except when in port. If you really want to check email etc do it in port, and buy the ATT plan which will work nicely.
