Atlantic sea conditions in March

Thinking of booking the 10 day Eastern Caribbean on Norwegian Dawn next March embarking from New York City. The first two days are at sea, just wondering whether the Atlantic is rough during this time.

Take some Bonine with you, usually March is the worst month of the year to sail on the Atlantic. However, the Dawn is a large ship and has stabilizers, so its size should help.

My husband and I went out of Baltimore on Celebrity's Galaxy in March of 2004 and had NO problems with rough seas on the way down. Coming home we had one day of choppy seas and it was bright and sunny.

It just depends on the weather. Going out in the winter you run the chance of a nor'easter. The Atlantic is un-predictable at any time. Just take the med/patch and you'll be fine.
