What is the family welcome aboard show?

Recommended Posts

Could be the orientation for Camp Carnival/Circle C/Club O2. You know, where the kids/teens can meet the camp councillors (as well as each other) and learn about the activities and events that they'll have at the camp during the cruise. Also so parents can sign their kids/teens up for camp if they and/or their kids/teens want to. Other than that, I have no idea. The only Welcome Aboard show that I know of is in the main theatre.

On the Magic and Triumph it is held in the main theater the first night and it's run by the Cruise Director. Introduces the entertainment staff, there's some music and dancing, a break the ice event (usually musical chairs), etc. It's basically a welcome to the ship on the first night. And it's recorded and replayed on the cabin TVs.

It's a dance party for families on the 1st night of the cruise before Camp Carnival opens. They play some music, blow up some balloons for the kids to play with, maybe have a kids vs. parents dance off -- things like that.
