Star Princess Ocean view Cabin Question

Hello to all

I am looking into a cruise on the Star Princess and noticed 4 ocean view cabins on deck 12 Aloha that face Aft, on each side of the Terrace Pool A746,747,748 & A749. If anyone has stayed in these rooms, is there a noise or traffic problem with these rooms, also it appears to have a deck that goes around the rooms, if so is there close access to the deck from the rooms?

Thanks for any information

Robert

The four aft facing cabins (A747, A749, A748, A750) are in a quiet area although their may be a number of people using the doors to the pool area that are at the end of the hallway. There should be no foot traffic that walks past the small hallway extension these cabins are on.

The deck you are seeing is the area around the pool and is actually a half deck higher.

Two pictures below of the equivalent area on a different ship.

First shows the hallway that goes only in front of A747 and A749 (using the cabin numbers on the Star).

Second shows the pool deck. The people standing on the right side of the picture would be near A747 (using the cabin number on the Star).

That is not a deck but rather stairs that are for crew only except for an emergency. The cabins have two relatively small portholes rather than a window. We were in the equivalent of A750 on the Sapphire but on the Sapphire and Diamond, and the Ruby, those cabins actually have balconies. There is a door quite near A747 and A750, I believe it is the door in the photo, that leads to a half flight of stairs up to the Terrace Pool. That door can slam shut and cause noise in those cabins. The location is convenient because you have the Terrace Pool a half flight of stairs away and the back of the Horizon Court another half flight away.
