showcat Posted September 11, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2005  Has any one taken the Legends of San Juan night walking tour in Old San Juan? If so did you like it, do you think it would be better, worse or the same as the ships tour of Old San Juan?
Jim B Posted September 12, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2005 Showcat. If it would help you to find a ton of information about your subject At the top right corner is a "search this forum" section. Type in Legends of Pureto Rico and it will organize a whole bunch for you to see. Sometimes this is easier.
Shorview75 Posted September 13, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2005 SHOWCAT-My DH and I just took it August 29th. We HIGHLY recommend it. Debbie was our guide and she was so sweet, insightful and got us into so many areas that a bus tour would never/couldn't take you. She could not have timed it more perfectly, at one point during the tour, we were over looking the water RIGHT at sunset. You will be able to learn so much history, while taking some GREAT photos. And she was great, that she would take the photos (she has a back ground in photography) of my husband and myself TOGETHER. We were in Old San Juan from 2-10 ish..so after we walked to El Morro Castle ourselves in the afternoon, we were able to see this beautiful city at night. And she seems to know everyone, so I felt very safe. We are planning on going back next year with my parents and we are going to take her tour again. Enjoy! showcat Posted September 15, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted September 15, 2005 Thankyou all so much, I plan to e mail Debbie soon for more info and hope I can talk my friend into booking with me. Does she meet you at the ship or do you have to walk or cab it to meet the tour?
Jim B Posted September 15, 2005 #5 Share Posted September 15, 2005 I am sure Debbie will be able to work things out for you and have a way to pick you up. Good choice. You won't be sorry.
