Hi,

I just downloaded Ship Mate on my iphone. Am I able to chat with people onbaord. How would I do this. It would be great to be able to be in touch with the people I went with. Thanks

I also downloaded Ship Mate and did not find it useful for connecting with the people on board. Some individuals had put in 10 to 15 consecutive cruises and no one ever responded to my comment. My advice is to stick to Cruise Critic roll calls and forums.

Don't you have to use the Internet for Ship Mate?

 

I tried to use it a couple of years ago to meet people in advance who were on the same cruise. Half the people who were on the list were not even on the same cruise.

Ship Mate is a planning app. I think the op wants to chat with people prior to boarding like we do here in roll calls.
