Carnival Victory Aft Extended Balcony

Hi All!

 

My wife and I are going on the June 27th sailing on the Carnival Victory for our 10th anniversary. When we initially booked there was only one aft balcony on deck 6. I read lots of reviews about the deck 6 balconies being loud due to the lounge below them so we chose not to book that cabin.

 

I was looking today and several aft-extended balconies are now available on deck 7. Any pros and cons to the aft extended balconies specific to Carnival Victory? Should I change to one of these cabins? The cost is currently no more than the price we booked at.

We had 3 afts on 7 last week and loved them (7431, 7433, 7430). No noise from above or below at all since there is only other staterooms. :)

7424 and 7427 (the ext afts next to the wraps) are most likely missing the sofa and coffee table. You probably will only have a chair in those cabins. Check this out with a PVP or Carnival website (Explore, ships, deck plans, room details). Those 2 rooms don't show a sofa like the other ext afts. We got stuck on the Breeze with one of these smaller ext afts and it was considerably smaller than the middle ext afts. The balcony seemed to be the same but the cabin was claustrophobic. Several of the ships (Breeze,sunshine) are like that on Empress ext afts next to the wraps, I am not making that mistake again. Good luck!
