Splinter Posted June 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 3, 2015 Northbound is the most popular with North Americans. I would advise you to book as soon as possible as there are very few wheelchair accessible cabins, even on the newer ships. Keep in mind that the tours will for the most part not be accessible (buses did not have lifts from what I saw, and no way to board most trips that are in small boats). The Oslo/Bergen train is accessible, but you will be limited to where you can sit, and this would not include the train to/from Flam. In Oslo, some (but not all) city buses are accessible, but most of the trolleys are not. Some but not most of the museums, etc. in both Oslo and Bergen are not accessible. digitl Posted June 3, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 3, 2015 We have done the round trip split over two cruises and enjoyed the northbound ports more than the southbound. Not a lot in it, but a difference nevertheless.
