3 nights (2 full days) in Fort Lauderdale

I have 2 days before we cruise on 12/15 out of FLL. Would it be best to stay by the Beach and get a taxi to Sawgrass Mills for the day? How much would it roughly cost there and back. I had toyed with the idea of staying at Crowne Plaza at Sawgrass but how much is there to do there apart from shopping (ok for my daughter and I but think my 18 year old son would go nuts!). Will it be beach weather? Thank you!!

While the Crowne Plaza at Sawgrass is a nice property, you're right, aside from spending a day at the mall there is really not much out there. Staying by or near the beach offers a lot of alternatives both at the beach and downtown to keep yourself and the kids amused.

A taxi from the beach to Sawgrass Mills would probably cost about the same as a two day car rental. If the car rental is not feasable, the county bus would be more economical. For more mass transit bus information, contact customer service at 954-357-8400. ;)
