Trunk Bay questions

We will be in St Thomas early October on a Carnival Liberty cruise.

Does anyone know how much transportation costs from the ship to Red Hook, then the ferry, then taxi to Trunk Bay beach?

Are taxis readily available for the return trip?

Prefer do try and do my own thing, so when is advisable to leave to beach to return in time.

Any information is appreciated.

Roundtrip Havensight to Redhook 20 to 24 per person. 20 per person if 2 or more.

 

RDTRP taxi Cruz bay to truk Bay 12 per person

 

RDTRP ferry redhook to cruz bay 24 per person

 

Taxies always available at both ferry docks and will pick you back up at Trunk Bay whatever time you tell them.

 

Been there, done that on my own also and had a great time.

 

From port to Redhook is about 30 minute ride. so recommend catching the ferry closest to a two hour departure before your ship leaves on your way back.
