what's the average wait time for the water slides? What time do they open and close? We have a 3.5 toddler, do they allow a parent and a small child going down the any slide at the same time? We'll be going in Oct. Thanks!

The waits really seemed random, but never were too bad. Sometimes maybe 10-15 minutes other times we had to actually walk all the way up the stairs and get right on. We didn't have little ones with us, and didn't notice if parents/kids went down together or not, sorry. The purple twister open slide (not an enclosed tube) was the one most smaller kids and parents were in line for. We did that one a couple times. The line moved slower since there was only one slide, but still not bad. The green and blue free fall slides often backed up. The orange and red twister tubes moved the fastest. Slides were almost always open 10-8. We usually were out on them early afternoon. The purple one has a separate line area. The others are together, but the stairs are marked left for orange/red and right for blue/green. Most of the time people didn't realize this though. Also, not sure what the minimum height and weight requirements are for the various slides, but I'm sure someone else can comment. Also if there are any ports you are not getting off the ship in, great time to go on the slides. We stayed on in Nassau and got our workout for the day just continually walking up the stairs over and over. Well that and the rock wall twice and the ropes course, too. Enjoy you will love the ship!
