Really screwed up! Shuttle from ft lauderdale port to Miami airport??

I learned we can visit Vizcaya from a Hop On Hop Off bus tour offered by the cruiseline's shore excursion desk. Thanks for the tip, Blue Herons! Is there anywhere you would recommend we visit for lunch that is part of the Hop On Hop Off bus tour nearby?

I don't know the route but I'm sure it goes down Coral Gables historical Miracle Mile. One of my all time favorites year after year is Ortanique.

Looking to maybe book a cruise as my first option sold out of driving to NJ. If we cruise out of Miami should I chance booking a 10:20 am flight out of Fort Lauderdale if we do self assist?

Or should consider a 10 from Miami but the times don't work as good for me as it has a layover and get in almost 3 hours later
