Princess transfers

Recommended Posts

The 4 of us will be on the Golden on 8/1. We would like to go to San Juan a day or two early. If we purchase transfers from Princess, do they pick us up from the hotel we tell them we are staying at or is this just for the airport? Also, does any hotel in San Juan offer courtesy shuttles to the pier? Everyone on the is board is always very helpful & hoping someone can help me out this time too.

Princess transfers when you're doing a pre-cruise stay are only good if you purchase your pre-cruise hotel through Princess as well.

Most of the hotels do not have complimentary shuttles, but taxis aren't expensive. Maximum of about $20 in the San Juan area to either of the piers. Likely you'll save more than that booking the hotels on your own

If you happen to be staying at a hotel that Princess is also using, you can often purchase a transfer from the Princess representative at the hotel (for from the hotel to the ship). Cabs are easy in San Juan and the distances are not terribly long, either.

We just completed a week on the Dawn, with a night pre-cruise stay in San Juan. We used the taxis and were very happy with that. It was far cheaper, and I think faster, too.
