Anyone stay in cabin A514 on Island Princess? How obstructed is the view? Any pictures? Any light?

A514 on Island Princess is a balcony. Lots of light. No obstructions. Are you sure you don't mean E514? That's an obstructed ocean view. It's completely obstructed as there is a lifeboat covering the entire window.

Pictures of obstructed view cabins are available on renmar's site

There will be natural light for the room - just no especially inspiring view. If it's light you are after you should be fine.

It's good to consult the site I linked above whenever considering an obstructed view cabin. I chose one earlier this year based on the picture on that site and was extremely pleased with my choice. I had almost booked a different cabin but, by comparing photos on renmar's site I was able to pick a cabin I liked much better.

Even though you have already booked you may be able to locate an available cabin at the same price with a better view. If the view isn't important then just stick where you are and you will still have light.
