Transportation from Disney Resort to Port Canaveral for Norwegian Cruise

We are going on a Norwegian Cruise out of Port Canaveral in February and are going to do to Disney for a few days before the cruise. What is the best way to get from a Disney Resort to the Norwegian Cruise Port in Port Canaveral?

I'd favor a one-way car rental. Several rental agencies in the Port Canaveral area have free shuttles to the cruise terminals.

what is your metric for BEST?

 

least expensive? probably rent a car

 

least hassle? probably a limo

 

combine these two? probably a private shuttle company

(there are MANY threads about good shuttle companies that run 'tween WDW and the port)

 

perceived as least expensive and least hassle but not? Take the free ride back to the airport and then take the (previously booked) cruise shuttle to the port ... {probably the most expensive and most hassle}
