HELP!!! Just heard FAT CAT closed!

I just happened to email cozumelinsider to double check and make sure everyone in my group had booked fat cat and got this email:

Good morning,

 

We are sorry to announce that following a double check with the Operator due

to your reservation check we have been advised that the Catamaran will now

not be in operation from November 23 to December 10th and you reservations

need to be cancelled.

 

We will refund all participants currently reserved today.

 

We apologize for the inconvenience.

HELP! we need suggestions for a snorkel, party boat!

Hi Isabel,

 

Unfortunately they will be closed :( The current catamaran was just sold

and will change hands on November 30th, the sale just went through on

Thursday, the reason we were not aware of the need to cancel reservations.

A new cat has been purchased but will not be available until mid

December......

 

All reservations below have just been refunded, you should see the refunds

on your next credit card billing cycle.

We had a great time on the Fat Cat excursion. The crew was wonderful and made sure you had a drink of some sort at all times. The guac and chips is awesome. Also great pineapple and melon. We anchored off of a beach area and could snorkle or swim or sun on the beach for about an hour or two. About half-way back to the dock the crew dropped a net behind the boat for some boom netting. Great fun. You definately want to give it a try. Just make sure you secure your bathing suit first or you might lose it in the ocean. We also made one more stop for some final swimming or snorkeling before our excursion ended. Snorkel equipment is provided so you don't have to worry about bringing any from home. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

We are cruisin the first week of Nov and I would love to do this.. I surely do hope you found someone reputable and fun!!

Well, I did finally hear from them. They did offer the cruise on the Cataman .. but it was a TriMaran with snacks and fluids. We also considered the Palm Beach resort all-inclusive.. but that is as far as we have gone.

ZydecoCruiser mentioned another outfit so we are looking into that one as well. :) Mayan Paradise but the wording on their excursion looks exactly like Island Marketing..
