Shopping In CocoCay

I just read a review on another website that said shopping in CocoCay is cash only. Does any one know this to be true? I was not planning to bring cash, but will if this is so. Do they have aggressive locals that hound you to death like in Labadee and Jamaica?

Yes it is cash only. They have locals that run a very small straw market. about 10 to 15 little shacks. They are very friendly and do not hound you. I thought that was the best place to shop for just that reason. Howver I hope you are only looking for hats t-shirts trinkets. No electronics or real jewelry.

It is cash only.

There are no locals, the island is owned by RCCL and Celebrity.

It is a nice relaxing place. The shopping isn't really great but good for a last minute purchase. You sea pass can be used for drinks.

 

Lunch is free :) Beach chairs are free :)
