Racer70 Posted September 25, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2015 We are arriving in Saint John, NB via Royal Caribbean on Oct. 14 and wanted to explore the Fundy Trail Parkway via car. However, as luck has it, they close the parkway for the season on Oct. 12? I have read that you can still enter the parkway by foot after Oct. 12 but not by car. Anybody have experience with the Fundy Trail Parkway after they close for the season? Is it worth hiking around by foot for a little while, or is there another way to drive the scenic coastline in that area? Any help would be appreciated. Additionally, why do they close on Oct. 12 when they know cruise ships are still coming in port into late Oct.?
Racer70 Posted September 26, 2015 Author #2 Share Posted September 26, 2015 I spoke with the folks at the Fundy Trail Parkway and they assured me they will remain open through Friday, Oct. 16 to allow cruise ship passengers and tourists to drive, bike or hike the beautiful parkway!
