Switching cruise after final payment?

I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but just wanted to see if anyone has had experience switching to a different cruise just a week later than the one we booked. I'm assuming we'd have to cancel, pay the penalty, and then rebook the new one since we 60 days away from sailing on a 7 day cruise. Is this correct or could I just move the booking and Celebrity will have the heart not to charge me for it?
