Regal/Royal Class Santuary Questions

Several cruises on the older Princess ships, now on Regal Jan 3. Some questions:

 

What is different about the newer ships... bigger/better, etc...?

 

Booking - assuming when you board the ship for weekly booking?

 

Pricing -

I've heard $30/day x 7 days (or is it $30 x 6 days for a 7 day cruise since the first day really isn't a full day)

It's $30 for 7 nights, or $210. You can use your lounger on the first day. As of October 2015 no prebooking. Sanctuary cabanas are $220 per day, $140 per half day. You MIGHT be able to get a discount if the whole cruise is booked.

Could someone confirm if there is a reduced rate for cabanas if booked for the entire cruise?
