Emailing the ship?

Sorry if this has already been covered in a previous thread... I did a search and could not find an answer.

 

With Princess I know that you can email the ship and they will deliver the message to a specific stateroom. Can the same be accomplished with Royal Caribbean ships or is the only way to reach the ship to call the toll-free number and pay $7.95/minute?

It definitely works on Princess. On that cruise my friend emailed me just for fun and it was delivered to our room no problem. it was really fun to get a fun message from home! our first RCI cruise is in december so I dont know about that cruise line

I called Crown and Anchor and they gave me a fax number for the ship... but it didn't work!

I had people email me at my home email, and checked it and emailed back from the ship every couple of days. It worked great and was much cheaper. Only about .50 a minute. Plus if you are a past cruiser, you should get a coupon for 10 minutes free email time.
