Excursion Company Recommendation

Hi there,

 

We are going to take an excursion to the Blue Hole and tubing and are trying to decide between two operators - Liberty Tours Jamaica (Ricardo) and Patrice Bailey. We have a group of 12 people so both excursions will be private (only our people on the vehicle). Liberty is $20 less. Can anyone provide me with their experience and recommendation on the two companies?

I can highly recommend Ricardo of Liberty Tours. We have been to Jamaica many times. He is a really nice guy. He has nice vehicles and is very prompt. Last time, we did Dunn's Falls and Blue Hole. We have also done Dunn's Falls and tubing - all lots of fun.

 

Just a tip for the Blue Hole. There will be a young guy that will take you to the trails and waterfalls. Tell them you will tip them good if they go slow and take their time(If your itinerary allows). Sometimes they will go really fast. I like to go slow and take lots of pictures(to my family's dismay).

DH and I want to go to Blue Hole in March - was wondering who you ultimately decided to use and how was it? We're trying to decide which tour operator to book too :)

I booked Richard Brooks for a shore excursion for 5-6 hours. He will take you anywhere that you want to go! Adventure, nature, history, arts & craft, dining and entertainment! He has a car that seats 7 and a bus that seats 14. The more people you have the less you pay. I found people on Cruise Critic Roll Call for my Princess Cruise and posted a message telling everyone about the tour. Within a couple of days I had 14 people signed up!

 

Richie was amazing! He is a laugh a minute type of guy and very entertaining! He took care of us the whole way, had beverages in his van and showed us the best of the island. His love of his country truly shows!
