Carnival online check-in question

Hi,

We are sailing with Carnival in just under six months. We sailed last year, but did a last minute cruise and paid upfront. When I look at the online check-in it says it isn't available yet, although the site says you can do it six months in advance.

 

Is it because we haven't paid the entire deposit yet do you think?

Yes to choose a boarding time and print a boarding pass requires full payment first.

Yep, as soon as you pay in full you can check in and get that early check in time (if that is what you want). Love that Carnival enforces the check-in times and lets you pick yourself rather than doing it based on deck.

Good to know they enforce it too... maybe I'll call up and get the final payment through so I can pick a time that suits. We got on about 3pm last time I think because we booked last minute.

 

It says our cruise leaves at 4pm which seems quite early.... who knows.
