Any comments on either cabin # 2079 or 2081 regarding noise from above deck 3.

I noticed that these cabins are right under the main dining room.

Has anyone stayed in either of these and can us if they heard anything?

Is the main dining room floor carpeted or tile? I think if it's carpet would help keep noise level down.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Which dining room? Typically the only times there will be noise from a dining room is during meal times (and immediately around those times). So, you shouldn't have any issues at bed time, if that's what you're worried about.

Yes we were worried about sleeping. The Triton's is right above us.

We just did a cruise on Royal in Asia and had the Royal Suite - they only have one cabin like that on the ship. Very big room BUT the noise from the deck above as awful. We were up to 2am they always washed the deck at night.

Who would ever put the Royal Suite in that location was crazy.

I just Googled "Disney Wonder 2081" and it does come up with a number of reviews.

Some good, some bad.

But since you have had a bad experience in the past, or may be more sensitive to noise that others that reviewed that Stateroom, I would avoid it.

This cruiser had a miserable cruise when their Stateroom was below the galley for Lumiere's.

The Classic's on DCL, Magic and Wonder, both have their Royal suites on deck 8 just under the pool deck as well, so it is not only Royal ;)

Some people light sleepers, some are heavy sleepers, some are more tolerant than others, and some are more sensitive to noise than others.

To avoid any disappointment, I would suggest you move Staterooms. Deck 7 should be safe.
