Pacific Eden info?

I have booked to sail on Pacific Eden in May 2016 from Freemantle.

HAs anybody sailed on this ship recently?

What is your opinion?

I've read some bad reviews and am a bit concerned.

Peter, have a look around in the Australia & NZ forum there is lots of discussion there. I was on the inaugural cruise for Eden and there were some issues. P&O acknowledge this and things will improve in time. Eden is a lovely ship which is well worth traveling on, indeed I am planning on cruising again on Eden or Aria.

Hey Peter,

We are on Eden 24 May doing 8 night Coral Coast cruise. I've also been trying to find out info about the ship as we are new to cruising and have read some reports that were concerning.

Go to the Australia & New Zealand Cruisers forum, you will find quite a few posts - not all good, but with an insight as to what goes on with a "new" ship and that things will get better.

Suggest you add your name to the "roll call" for your sailing.

Welcome to cruise critic, the first cruise was a shakedown cruise where most of the crew is new and getting to know how to run the ship and all its processes. I would think by May, every one will be settled and there would be hardly any issues. From all accounts the ship is beautifully decorated. I was on the aria and it certainly was.:D

Go with a positive attitude, Peewack Life is what you make it. The refurb looks wonderful. I'm sure P&O will sort out the problems by the time you sail. :)
