Spike5556 Posted December 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 23, 2015 We are a family of five and we are contemplating a cruise on the breakaway. The most economical option for us regarding accommodations is a family oceanview cabin. Traveling is my husband and I and our three boys, ages 17, 15, and 12. Wondering what the room will be like - is it very cramped??? Thanks for any info / advice!
janpo Posted December 23, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 23, 2015 Not the Breakaway but my husband and I stayed on the 5th floor of the Getaway in a family OV. Nice big room. Bed plus a couch. Bathroom had a tub and double sink. Loved that cabin.
Rare kjquilts Posted December 23, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 23, 2015 It will be crowded but is certainly doable. There is so much to do on the ship you don't need to spend a lot of time in the stateroom. Here is address for a youtube video of family oceanview 5146. This one shows both the couch bed and upper bed for 5th person made up for sleeping. I've always been able to copy and paste "clickable" links but for some reason not working right now but you can put the address in your browser and go from there.
