College FB Championship game

We will be cruising on the Nieuw Amsterdam on Monday, 1/11. Does anyone know if the College Football Championship game will be available on board? Thanks!

We were just having the same conversation. We will be on the Zuiderdam. I would guess that they will broadcast it in the sports bar near the casino.

What network is it on? HAL carries ESPN stations routinely, so if it's on one of those, it should be available in the Sports Bar, as well as on cabin TV.

If some other network is carrying the game, then it will only be shown if HAL has purchased the rights. They have been known to purchase the rights to special presentations.

Several years ago we saw the championship game on board the Zuiderdam. I believe it was broadcast on one of the big 4 networks because we heard an open mike feed during commercial breaks (highly entertaining).

 

HAL had purchased rights to show it and they had a big party in the Queen's Lounge with drink specials and decorations.

We will be on the Prisendam and are hoping to be able to watch the game. Son is a Clemson grad!

Glad you asked, I have the same question as we will also be on that cruise. Seeing that you are from Nebraska I imagine you are a Big 10 fan. We are too, only it's Wisconsin.
