Halloween Cruise on Getaway 2016

hi there,

I'm new here at cruise critic but I have cruised with NCL 15 times.

I now plan the Getaway on 30th October 2016.

 

Anyone with experience for a Halloween sailing?

I'm travelling Solo (so far )

Also, is this a School Holiday time in the US?

We are scheduled on the same cruise Nov. 30th on Getaway. I want to know about the dressing up for Halloween night which is the sail date or are they going to have dress up on the 31st. I did read that last year, it was on the 31st when they had the Halloween party... we have 3 sets of adults going and we would love to know also.

We are booked on that same cruise. As of right now there aren't any plans for adults or our little kids to dress up. I've never been on a ship during halloween so I don't know what to expect. Limited packing space will probably make it not an option but might have the kids dress up a little if we can work out something functionally small. Anybody been on Getaway type ships over Halloween?
