Labadee Haiti port!!!

I heard a rumor about not being able to dock at labadee.. Is this true? Has anyone else heard this?

happened a couple of days last week when locals were protesting the elections process .... which is not an unusual event in Haiti.

 

Some folks came out in small boats and were around the pier area and the Captain decided not to stay. I believe this extend to two days. After that, things went back to normal. See the Royal C section ... there are a couple of threads ....

if I were a betting man I'd lay odds that the folks that work inside the La' area, and the vendors allowed in to sell their wares probably went and found the protestors and smacked 'em up side de head!!!!
