I have read that your room steward will bring as much ice as you want, but what if you need some and can't find your room steward. Is there an ice machine like in a hotel you can refill yourself?

no but you can always call room service and they will bring you all you want.

It also depends on which ship you are sailing, when I was on Destiny, there was a pop and ice machine right across from my room on the Rivera Deck. On some ships it not accessible to passengers.

The cabin steward will fill your ice bucket twice a day (more often if you ask him), BUT he is off-duty from around noon till around 5pm every day. You can call room service for ice, or look for the ice machine, which is what I've done. Sometimes, they're in a closet that's meant for ship personnel only, but if the door's not locked, help yourself to ice!

We were on the Destiny also and we refilled out our ice bucket also. I always ask for 2 ice buckets. I keep bottles of water cold.
