Need some information about a shuttle from a hotel in Miami or the airport Miami to Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale.

I am going to fly from Brussels to Miami in november to take a cruise in Port Everglades in FLL, staying 1 night in a hotel in Miami because late arrival.

Is it doable? What is the price? What are good companies?

Thanks

Budget hotels near the MIA airport often suggested include La Quinta East and Comfort Suites North. Nicer hotels in a nicer area (with shopping and dining options within walking distance) are found in the Blue Lagoon area - Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites, etc. All offer free airport shuttles. Going to a downtown hotel will make your transportation options to PE more complicated.

To get from MIA to PE you have options:

1. One way car rental MIA-FLL - the drive takes about an hour

2. Shared shuttle service from Super Shuttle, American Shuttle or Go Airport - about $35+ the last time I checked.

3. Taxi for about $75-80+

4. Uber for something less than cab fare (watch out for surge pricing )

5. Take the Tri-Rail train from the MIA airport station to the FLL station and then cab to you ship; about $5 for the train and $15 for the taxi

6. Private car service from Larry's Limos or Go Airport - $100+ depending upon how big of a car you want/need/can afford
