Carnival Hub is not part of the 2.0 Upgrade

I know everyone keeps asking this question and John Heald has confirmed that it is not going to be part of the upgrades on the Magic in February. Following is quoted from my question on his FB page:

No, I am afraid not Marg. She will get the Alchemy Bar and Guys Burgers and other 2.0 upgrades though. cheers

I am not sure why people believe Hub App has anything to do with 2.0 upgrades. If that were the case, it would be a lot more ships that had it.

 

Also, just a couple of weeks ago, John Heald stated that there was no new updates on the rollout of the app to other ships.

Wonder what the hold-up is on releasing it to all of the other ships? Anyone know what's involved in completing this task?

Really not sure you would think it would be a simple software installation but obviously not

It's all good. I was hoping it would be available on my April 3rd sailing, but it's not a big deal. Just good to know for sure that it won't be. Thanks for the update! Social Media package it is!!

As per John... The Pride is receiving the Hub App on April 3rd! Just in time for my cruise on April 15th!

He only announced the release date for the pride. However he did mention a release date for other cruise ships should be coming later in the week.

 

Check out his Facebook page each day and look for updates regarding the App.
