TP cruisers/ ScootCar Driver's License Needed?

We leave Thurs 5-06 for the TP. For those past TP cruisers that went to Cook Islands, can you tell me if you were made to get a driver's license for the scootcar? We have one paid for through Jetsave.

I decided NOT to get the ScootCar because a real car is nearly as cheap and goes a lot faster. I understand the accelerator is on the handle bars. Also, they are dangerous. Maybe you could change to a car. E-mail them:

Kathy and Dennis (from Sydney) just got back from 17 April cruise and said that Le Truck is great there. All the way around the island for $2 USD. I may do this.
