Hello Everyone,

I'm a 'noobie' when it comes to cruises. This will be my first Princess cruise. My family has given me their blessings to go and have fun with my girlfriend so we booked a balcony and are having a blast making all the arrangements. This board has given us lots of great tips. Thanks!! Our cruise is the 7 night Western itinerary and understand that it has two formal nights. Our question is when are the formal nights? Are they on the two "at sea" days? Or are they say like the 2nd and 5th nights.. etc. We were just wondering if we need to plan our shore excursions around getting back to the ship in time to dress. Thanks for all the info guys!

Unless unavoidable, formal nights are scheduled for sea days. That way you don’t have to worry about hurrying back from a port call to dress and participate.
