how were the shows, was there one every night? was there any live music? and last how was the anytime dinning? Thanks so much for your input, going in may.

I will tell you my honest opinion.

There were shows every night. Unfortunately, the CD (Jacques) was disappointing. He wasn't as funny as other CD, so shows like the Love and Marriage show were not as entertaining as usual. They were still good though, just not amazing and/or hilarious.

Yes, there was live music. In the day time, a DJ played music on the on the lido deck. In the evening, there was a live signer behind the bar in the atrium, in the piano bar, and in the promenade at the entrance of the casino.

We did not choose anytime dining, but the food in the dining room was excellent (We has 6 o'clock seating). The service was good except on one night. It took a total of 1h30 every night to complete the 3 course meal.

Good info.

We're sailing on her in July.

What room were you in?

We're in an Ocean View m102 but considering upgrading to a suite.

It's our first cruise ever.

Is the music so loud on lido as to not be enjoyable?

How was the staff?

Any other thoughts to share?

Thanks in advance!

If you upgrade a suite go on deck 11. it is worth it. We never took more than 2 flights of stairs to get anywhere! You walk right out of your room and the. Straight down, then, you are on the lido outside lido deck. If you have more money, you can ask for the "secret" Grand Suite that isn't even on the deck plans.

The music was loud, but not too loud. You can go to the back of the ship or to the Serenoty area if you don't like the music.

Our inside room on Deck 11 had an excellent location, as I said, but it was disappointing. The room was very rundown and needing of a renovation. The dressers were dusty, scratched and worn. Also, prepare to be hot, as the room temperature never goes below 72! I keep my house at 65, so it was hard to sleep. The air conditioner was basically just a fan.

For the crew, it really depends on who you encounter. For us, the crew was average. No one outstanding like we encountered on other ships. But this really is just luck to me. All ships have some good and bad workers.

I believe Fantasy just came off a dry dock fix up.

All of the suites on the verandah are the forward part of the ship and I'm concerned about motion sickness. ....we've never cruised before.

I was looking at the grand suites in the middle many floors down believing we'd less likely feel movement?

Any thoughts on my thinking?

Walking doesn't bother us.

The Grand Suites appear to have a more private balcony.

They're on the upper deck.

Currently we're on the main deck as I've yet to call for the upgrade.

Guess I am still unsure what I want.

Thanks all for the info.

My friends and I were on the Fantasy at the end of February. We upgraded to the penthouse which was really nice and roomy. Definitely worth the money in my opinion. That was the highlight. Service in the dining room was mediocre but the food was good. Disembarkation was a nightmare. We received 2 letters under our door with 2 different times to meet in one of the lounges. No one showed up to meet the folks from the penthouses so we all sat there waiting. We asked multiple staff members but no one had a clue.
