Escape Deck 9 - 9778

Hi!

 

We're booked on the escape on deck 9. Any thoughts about this deck / room? It's a balcony #9778. I can't seem to find any pictures or other info about the pros / cons of this location online.

We were in room 9156 for our escape cruise last month. I really loved being on that floor. I don't like heights and felt much better looking over the balcony from 9th floor as opposed to my friends 14th floor room. I know many will say it is not much difference, but if you are not a fan of heights, it is a BIG difference. Also loved being 1-2 floors above the restaurants/bars/theaters. It meant that we could take the stairs and not have to deal with waiting for the elevators. We went to the gym every morning on the 16th floor and walking the stairs up provided a good cardio "warm-up". I think walking the stairs most times prevented me from getting that dreaded 5-7 pound weight gain on our cruise! LOL!!

We are on the 9th floor too so good information. I am also hoping to not experience that cruise weight gain!

Does anybody know how to tell on the escape plans if the bed is by the balcony or not. Usually u can tell by the jut out in the line in between the rooms but on escape I don't see them just straight lines

Is there a lot of noise if your room is mid ship on deck 9? I'm worried about being above the bars.
