You need to make sure what's on your appliance fits. Also, here in the US a lot of handheld appliances like hair straighteners or curling irons have dual voltage. Iam a correct in thinking if I had used the European outlet they would have worked.... Sailing Harmony in Med in October Yes, the Euro outlet has the same voltage as the UK uses.
