Just wondering if anyone knows if these are available in Aruba and where the best finds might be.

They were, but were high priced all things considered ($15-20 for a wallet, $40 for purses in some cases). The fiance did significantly better in Curacao (as low as $9 for purses).

We bought ours in St Thomas at the vendors stalls near downtown. $25 range

Darn, We are only going to be stopping in Aruba and Labadee on our 8-night repo cruise for Thanksgiving. I know just where you are talking about in St. Thomas - we have shopped there.

 

Does Aruba have any open air markets similar to the one in St. Thomas?

There are lots of vendor stalls adjacent to the the pier (across from Iguana Joes) Can't remember if I saw any designer knock offs, though.
