Need help. Has anybody sailed in cabin 8367 or 8371 on the Carnival Breeze?

Our travel agent booked my family of 4 in cabin 8367. However, if you look at the deck plans online, it shows this is a 2-person room. I called Carnival and explained to them that the deck plans on their website all show this as a 2-person room, but the employee I talked to wasn't amused and told me it holds 4. I am nervous about showing up and having it actually be for 2 people and then not having a room for my family.

Also, my sister is booked in the cabin next to us, 8371. I am wondering about the noise with this cabin. It is almost right above the bay that extends off the promenade, right outside the lanai entrance to the casino area. Did you have an issue with it being too noisy here? Or was Deck 8 far enough up that you couldn't hear people coming in and out or being too loud. Did the bay that extends out (similar to the hot tub bays, but with tables instead of a hot tub) cut off your view in any way? What about the light at night. Was it too bright in that spot? We have never had a balcony before and we are hoping for a really quiet balcony experience with stellar views and pleasant night-time conversations. :)

My girlfriend and I just saw this post. We will be staying in room 8370, right next door to y'all. We have though about those issues too that you described in your post. Oh wait, just looked at the deck plans. Sorry my bad. We are on the port side. I don't see an issues with noise. As there are rooms above and below are rooms, so it shouldn't be a problem. Only hall traffic possibly.

Just got back from cruising on the Breeze out of Galveston, My son and his family stayed in cabin 8367 and it holds 4. There are 2 beds that are stored in the ceiling and are pulled down. The grandkids loved them

Oh cool! Okay, so the website says there is one pull down bed from the ceiling and one sofa bed (in addition to the two twins that convert to a king). Is this not the case? It says that it fits 4, but if it has two pull down beds, does that mean it fits 5? Also, were the balconies noisy in this location or were they just fine? And how was the condition of the ship? We will be sailing just before it dry docks next April, so I am a bit worried it will be in rough condition.

Okay, I really hope you respond to this. If both beds are in the ceiling, what is underneath one of the beds where there is usually a sofa?

I was just on the Breeze in March. It is in excellent condition.

Don't worry. Be happy!

I think it may be a typo on the poster's part. We stayed directly across on a couple of port side rooms last year and there was only 1 upper pullman type bed.

The only rooms (to my knowledge, maybe I'm wrong) that have (2) upper pullman type beds are the family rooms down on deck 1 or 2.

I'm about 90% sure (if equipped) it would be a single dropdown and a convertible couch.

Doing some research, it looks like 8367 DOES NOT have an upper pullman, but would have a convertible couch. 8371, on the other hand would have the pullman. If you are getting information contrary to that, I would definitely call again. I think you are right to be suspicious about this.
