Huelva - much better than expected

This is only the second time the ship has docked at this port. (dreadful copy of map from Destination services and no local information.) We held out very little hope but were pleasantly surprised. To get out of the port you need the free shuttle. The guide tried to give a commentary but her English was poor and she told us more about what the town didn't have that what it did. On arrival we were given a much better colour map and a sample of wine from a lady in costume. Great place to shop with all high street brands. Market is good for a look (fish/meat/ veg) Walk onto the park. Nice little play area for the kids. River at the end. Couple of churches. Back onto the Bus. Great few hours out and about. Actually preferred it to Alicanti.:)

We enjoyed our time in Huelva but feel that nearby Cadiz has so much more to offer and the centre is so much more accessible.
