Cosmopolian Classics on Discovery

Has anyone done the "Cosmopolian Classics" on the discovery yet??

 

Can you give me a few tips on the Excursions, What you thought of them

 

. And are some do able on your own.

 

Have read about the few problems with the boat.....How did you get on?

Well, my review is further down the topic list, but worth having a look for and there is a more recent one here too.

We did the Cosmo classics trip a month ago; we did the St Tropez excursion and the isle of Capri. The ST trip is so not worth the money. Basically a guide walks you to a park and that's it. Ok, the guide is knowledgable but that's a given surely. The Capri trip you can DIY. You use the same high speed ferry as everyone else, which is 5 minutes from the ships birth. Yes, the guide walks you round then you are given a meeting place and that's it. With hindsight, I wish we had done our own thing. There are full instructions on the destinations forum on here. Enjoy your trip and get some ear defenders!
