Preventing dew in video cameras?

You get a very good sturdy insulated carry case. Keep the case wrapped in a towel in the lower part of the closest.

The cabins are very cold and the outside is very warm. Taking a camera fromth inside to the outside quickly causes the condensation build up.

I've had this happen. I have now learned (and it worked just fine on my last cruise) to wrap the camcorder in a handtowel, and put it back into it's case. I don't re-zip the case, and just leave it out on a table. JUST prior to leaving the cabin, take the camera out, and it should go through the gradual warming up process before you get up on deck.
