Taxi Service in Skagway

We recently returned from an Inside Passage cruise and as I recently spent a year recovering from a shattered pelvis, I needed a taxi service to get around. We called TruMore Courier DBA as TruMore Chilkoot Trail Transport run by Ann Moore. We arranged for an hour of her time and to be picked up closest to where the ship docked at 10:00 a.m. Ann was there when we got off the ship. She asked where we would like to go and we headed off to our first stop (we have been to Skagway several times previous). My husband loves trains and we next headed off to the train store where he purchased an N-scale White Pass & Yukon train set. Ann asked if we would like to see the "real" locomotive and off we went. What a find! We were so pleased! Our hour was then up and Ann drove us back to the closest spot to the ship. Ann was a wonderful guide, very knowledge, friendly and helpful! The cost for the hour was $25.00 and it was worth more!

I am not sure if Ann will book less than one hour but if that is all you need, I would recommend calling to find out. When you are unable to navigate as easily as you once did, it was so nice to find someone who was understanding and accommodating to our needs and desires. We really recommend Ann and TruMore Courier if you need a taxi ride in Skagway!
