honeymooner09-2006 Posted November 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2005 We are looking at the Tahitian Princess repositioning cruise from Hawaii to Tahiti for our honeymoon. I have read the ship reviews - any comments on how this would be for a honeymoon and if there will be other honeymooners aboard? Anyone else on this trip? Any thoughts would be helpful! We were also looking at a Holland America Cruise in the Eastern Med. we are having such issues deciding and would love opinions:)

We were also looking at a Holland America Cruise in the Eastern Med. we are having such issues deciding and would love opinions:) We did it on the Dawn Princess and then came back to Hawaii (not as a honeymoon though). It would be a great honeymoon trip. It is hard to predict how many H Mers would be on board. How do you feel about 5 straight days at sea. We loved it.:) We also did the Mediterranean, you will be on the go all the time. Our trip was 12 days, only 2 days at sea, 6 straight days of sightseeing in the middle of the trip. Hawaii to Tahiti is best. Start in Hawaii and end in Bora Bora and Moorea. The Tahitian Princess is beautiful. :)
ssbeagle Posted November 1, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 1, 2005 If you do the Tahiti to Hawaii you won't have quite as long a flight home as you would going out to Tahiti which takes two hours longer to get to. You can upgrade on Air Tahiti Nui at the LAX airport for about $600/person to business class. Going home it's harder to upgrade. We had some honeymooners on the ship. Either way, it's a great trip and one you will always remember.
